I fell for Italy. It was a wonderful, rich experience. I'd love to live there, only temporarily, of course, my children are my first love. It was an awesome experience, better than I could have imagined. I loved the people, the land, the way of life. I loved Rome and never felt unsafe. I soaked up as much as I could of the culture. I made a host of new friends, all the Unlucky 13, as I called them, and especially Giuseppe and Diane our guides. All the people at the Villa were wonderful too. My best buds Martha, Annie and Ronnie made the trip so enjoyable for me. I learned a ton about composing a painting....it goes through my head every day.
